Studies in Theology

In addition to our accrdited courses, ITCC also offers subjects which are not accredited by the Council for Higher Education. These subjects are on the same educational level as Matric and are offered at a lower cost than the accredited course for those who do not require an accredited qualification. There are no written examinations.

NB: Although a certificate of completion is issued once the student has completed a prescribed number of courses, these courses may not be transferred to the Accredited Studies in Theology. It is important therefore that a student considering the non-accredited course should be absolutely sure that this is the route they want to pursue.

The non-accredited Studies in Theology uses five subjects from the accredited program and a number of other non-accredited courses. We offer a Core Curriculum providing the student with a firm Biblical and theological foundation. The student will also receive training in Pastoral Theology and Christian Leadership.

Method of Study
A study manual has been prepared for each subject. The student is required to study the manual and the various textbooks for the course. Each course is a 'self-contained' module with 3 - 6 assignments per course. Students do not write exams.
Amount of study time required
Each assignment will take about 15 - 20 hours depending on the content of the course. It is possible for students to do 2 modules at a time. However, this requires both time and discipline.
